摘 要:大卫·达姆罗什是哈佛大学比较文学系教授,著有《什么是世界文学》(2003)、《怎样阅读世界文学》(2008)等著作,主编六卷本《朗曼世界文学作品选》(2004)、《讲授世界文学》(2009)、《理论中的世界文学》(2014)等。过去十年中,达姆罗什致力于重振世界文学的概念,努力使其制度化,并力图通过文献资料汇编来建构其教学理念。笔者受《外国文学研究》杂志委托,在2013年访问哈佛大学比较文学系期间采访了达姆罗什教授。在采访中,大卫·达姆罗什指出现在是比较文学学科变革的时代,他分析了在全球化时代世界文学教学与人才培养的重要性、比较文学与世界文学之间的关系以及作为比较文学学科框架的世界文学等问题。David Damrosch is professor of Comparative Literature at Harvard University, and author of six books, including What Is World Literature? (2003) and How to Read Worm Literature (2008), and also editor of books such as the 6-volume Longman Anthology of World Literature (2004), Teaching World Literature (2009) and World Literature in Theory (2014). In the last ten years Professor Damrosch has been making efforts to revitalize the concept of world literature, to institutionalize it, and to frame its pedagogical imperatives in edited collections. Prof. Hao Lan of Tianjin Normal University, entrusted by Foreign Literature Studies, interviewed Prof. Damrosch in 2013 when she visited Harvard's Department of Comparative Literature as a visiting scholar. In the interview, Daznrosch emphasized that this is a transformative time for the discipline of Comparative Literature and discussed the significance of teaching world literature in an era of globalization, and the relation between comparative literature and world literature, which serves as a frame for the discipline of comparative literature.
