摘 要:目的探讨地方院校新生大学公共英语学习焦虑状况。方法采用外语课堂焦虑量表对150名大学新生进行调查。结果①新生英语学习中存在中等焦虑心理(3.140±0.576);②不同专业新生的焦虑总分(F=3.430,P<0.05)和负评价焦虑(F=7.604,P<0.01)具有显著差别;③英语A级学生在焦虑总分和4个维度的焦虑上得分均明显低于英语B级学生。(焦虑总分t=-5.470,P<0.01;交流焦虑t=-4.892,P<0.01;负评价焦虑t=-2.576,P<0.05;环境焦虑t=-6.172,P<0.01;考试焦虑t=-3.888,P<0.01);④不同性别新生在环境焦虑存在显著差异(t=2.143,P<0.05),男生得分高于女生。结论地方院校新生普遍存在英语学习焦虑心理,应有针对性为新生展开应对英语学习焦虑的策略指导。Objective To explore the English learning anxiety in freshmen at local university .Methods A total of 150 freshmen were surveyed using the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale .Results ①A medium level of English anxiety existed in the fresh-men's English learning(3.140 ±0.576).②There were significant differences in general anxiety (t=3.430,P〈0.05)and negative e-valuation anxiety among different majors (t=7.604,P〈0.01).③Students at A level gained significantly lower scores in the four kinds of anxiety than students at B level (communication anxiety t=-4.892,P〈0.01;negative evaluation anxiety t=-2.576,P〈0.05;envi-ronment anxiety t=-6.172,P〈0.01;exam anxiety t=-3.888,P〈0.01).④There was also significant difference in environment anxie-ty between male and female students with males scoring higher .(t=2.143,P〈0.05).Conclusion English anxiety exists widely in the freshmen's English learning at local university .Strategies of reducing English learning anxiety should be taught to freshmen .
