摘　　要：新世纪的到来,为我国高等教育的发展带来新的机遇,同时也对高校管理干部的素质与能力提出了更高的要求。加强高校管理干部队伍建设,是创新高校管理领域的一个重要课题。高校应通过建立管理干部队伍建设的新机制,加强干部自身的素质与修养,不断提高管理干部队伍的整体水平,以适应新的历史时期高等教育发展的需要。The new historical period not only brings new opportunities of the development of higher education in China, but also puts forward higher requirements to the university management cadre＇ s quality and ability. Strengthening the construction of administrative cadres in colleges and universities is an important and new topic of universities management. Colleges and universities should establish a new mechanism for construction management cadre and enhance cadres＇ own quality, and continuously improve the overall levels of the management cadre, in order to meet the needs of higher education＇s development in the new historical period.
