Objective To investigate the influence of somatostatin for the erythrocyte indexes and microcirculation state of patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods Eighty patients with acute pancreatitis in the Oversea Chinese Hospital of Puning from Dec.2011 to Oct.2013 were the research object, and they were divided into control group (routine acute pancreatitis treatment group) 40 cases and observation group (routine treatment and somatostatin group) 40 cases by random allocation method, then the erythrocyte indexes and microcirculation state related indexes of two groups before the treatment and at first day and seventh day after the treatment were compared. Results The erythrocyte indexes of observation group at first day and seventh day after the treatment were all lower than those of control group, and the microcirculation state related indexes including the pancreatic blood flow and nailfold microcirculation were all better than those of control group, there were significant differences (P < 0.05).Conclusion The influence of somatostatin for the erythrocyte indexes and microcirculation state of patients with acute pancreatitis is great, and its improvement role for the disease state of patients with acute pancreatitis is obvious.
