摘 要:采用体纹理技术进行瀑布与地形的碰撞检测.同采用层次包围盒的瀑布的碰撞检测不同,该方法将地形图元的平面方程通过实例化技术绘制到体纹理,再通过瀑布粒子运动位置对体纹理进行采样,由粒子与平面的距离判断瀑布粒子是否与地面发生碰撞,并根据反射规律决定瀑布粒子碰撞后的运动,从而绘制出瀑布下落后沿着地表面随着地势流动的效果.实验表明,该方法能够满足实时性绘制要求.Collision detection of waterfall with terrain was proposed based on solid texture technique. Different from waterfall collision detection with hierarchical bounding box, in this method the plane equation of terrain primitive elements were mapped into solid texture with hardware instancing, and then the solid texture was sampled according to the moving position of the waterfall particle. According to the distance of the particle from the plane, it was determined whether the collision of water fall particle with the terrain ground occurred. If collision occurred, the particle motion would be determined according to reflection law, so that the motion of waterfall along the surface of the terrain would be plotted. It was shown by experiment that this method could satisfy the requirement of real-time plotting.
