摘　　要：19世纪的英国,传统的农业社会结构正在土崩瓦解,新兴的工业化和城市化进程正在迅速加剧,通过分析《捡橡果的孩子》中造成小男孩儿悲惨命运的原因,可以看到英国乡村社会转型期人的异化、作者对宗教真谛的质问以及对美好纯洁的大自然的向往。In 19th century ,the traditional structure of agricultural society was collapsed and the emerging of industrialization and urbaniza-tion was rapidly increasing in Britain .By digging out the reason that results the tragic fate of the little boy in The Acorn-Gatherer ,one can see the human alienation ,religious truth and the author’s fascination with nature in the transition period of British rural society .
