摘　　要：从赫连勃勃建造统万城、统万城的发展阶段对统万城的历史沿革做了全面的、系统的阐述,并总结了前人有关统万城建城起讫时间及与奢延城、大城、朔方县的相关问题上的各类观点,以及现今统万城的状况,以供对统万城历史感兴趣的人作一较全面的了解。Historic evolution of Tongwan City is illustrated in a systematic and complete way from two aspects： the city building by Helianbobo and its development stages. All previous opinions about the beginning and the end of Tongwan City and problems related to Sheyan City, Da City and Shuofang County, as well as the present status of Tongwan City are summarized, which offers an overall understanding for people interested in Tongwan City＇s history.
