社会融合连续统及对农民工城市融合测度的意义

摘　　要：社会融合是一个比较复杂的概念,其测量具有多个维度和不同取向;其中,心理融合、文化融合、经济融合、制度融合构成一个常用的维度体系,而"融合本身测量"、"影响因素测量"和"后果测量"构成融合测量的三种取向。通过对社会融合的宏观、中观和微观理论梳理,提出"社会融合连续统"的概念。立足"社会融合连续统"反思测量维度和测量取向,发现四个维度遵从两条不同的逻辑来设计,可归结为"心理—制度"和"文化—经济"两个不同分类体系,两个分类体系之间既是一种交叉关系,又存在选择性亲和关系;而社会融合测量的三种取向也分别位于连续统的不同位置。从"社会融合连续统"的角度看,为推动农民工社会融合经验研究,使其测量更具针对性,测量结果更具可比性,设计融合指标时既要考虑指标体系的全面性,又要注意测量层次的适当说明。Social integration is a quite complex concept, the measurement of which involves different dimensions and orientations. A common dimension-system is constituted by the psychological integration, cultural integration, economic integration, and institution integration, while the inte- gration measurement has three orientations, namely, the measurement of integration itself, the measurement of integration influence factors and the measurement of integration consequences. Thispaper proposes the concept of ＂continuum of social integration＂ by summarizing and integrating the macro, meso and micro theories of social integration. Based on the ＂continuum of social integration＂, the paper reconsiders the measurement dimension and the measurement orientation, and arrives at two major findings. First, the four dimensions are designed by two different logics, which can be summed up as two classification ＂psychology——institution＂ and ＂culture--economy＂. These two classifications have a relationship of both cross-connection and selective affinity. Second, the three orientations of the measurement of social integration are located in different positions of the continuum. From the perspective of ＂continuum social integration＂, it is contended that, in order to promote the empirical research of migrant workers＇ social integration and enhance the pertinence and comparability of the measurements, it is important to provide a compre- hensive system of indexes and necessary illustrations of measurement levels in designing integration indexes.
