摘　　要：1920年举办的北京高等师范学校图书馆学讲习会是首次全国性、大规模的图书馆员职业教育活动。会议为发展图书馆教育就尽快组建全国性的图书馆协会达成了共识,为中国图书馆学教育开创了一种良好的范式,加速了中国新图书馆事业的现代化进程,是新图书馆运动的一个重要的转捩点;会议催生了一批重要的图书馆学著作,对中国现代图书馆的学科建设和学术发展起到了助推作用。The Beijing Higher Normal University＇s Library Science Seminar of 1920 is the first large-- scale national librarian occupational education. The Science Seminar reached a consensus on developing the library education and forming a national library association as early as possible. It created an enlightening paradigm for China library science education and accelerated the Chinese library modernization process. It is an important turning point of the new library movement. The Science Seminar fostered the library science and had indispensable meaning to a series of academic works in Chinese library, taking a significant role in the modern library discipline construction and academic development.
