建设高等教育强省进程中的大学校长背景特征——基于江苏本科院校的研究

摘　　要：从人口学背景、教育背景和职业背景对江苏本科院校校长进行研究。结果显示:江苏重点院校校长背景的基本特征是"兼容型",具有博士授予权的非重点院校校长背景的基本特征是"内长型",无博士授予权的本科院校校长背景的基本特征是"外塑型"。江苏本科院校校长具有平均年龄相对年轻、国际化水平偏低、学位层次仍有提升空间、有其他院校工作经历的比例高低不一、高水平大学校长为本校校友的比例偏高等特点。This paper discusses the demographic backgrounds, educational backgrounds, and career backgrounds of universities in Jiangsu Province. One common quality of chancellors in the key universities is diversity. In universities and colleges that can grant doctoral degrees, the chancellors are usually a“natives”, while in those that cannot, the chancellors are often “aliens”. Backgrounds of the chancellors in universities and colleges in Jiangsu are now younger in average, have lower level of internationalization. There is still room for them to improve in academic degrees, to accumulate more diversity in experience and to work in institution that is not where they are educated, etc.
