摘　　要：主要从导航定位、授时等六个方面综合评述了当前 GPS在不同领域中新的重要应用 ,旨在对今后我国 GPS技术的发展提供一定的参考。Global positioning system(GPS) brings great changes in navigation and positioning. It absolutely solves the navigation and positioning problem on the earth for human being. The system can satisfy the different requirements of different users. This paper mainly discusses new applications of GPS in such fields, as navigation, positioning and timing. It certainly provides some references for the GPS development in China.
