摘　　要：本文对中国网络教育的历史发展概况、特点和作用进行了探讨 ,认为网络教育具有突破时空限制、变革传统教学模式、师生交流互动性加强和教育资源共享等特点 ,它对学校降低教学成本、降低学生费用、扩大教育规模、教师真正做到因材施教。The thesis discusses the general situation and development of the Chinese network education,its characteristics and its function.The charaeteristics include the break through of the space time restriction,the changing of the old teaching mode,the strengthening of the Teacher student communication and inter action,and the sharing of the educational resources.The function of the network education is to reduce the educational cost,to enlarge the educational scale,to provide people with lifelong education,etc.
