摘　　要：加拿大高校图书馆在教学科研中起着很大作用。这个国家高校图书馆与我国的同类图书馆在一些方面有所不同。他们的工作有许多值得我国高校领导及图书馆人员学习的地方。本文列举了几点 :一、组织管理 ;二、资源共享 ;三、工作人员的条件 ,作扼要介绍。Academic libraries play an important role in educatiom and research.The library is facing a challenge caused by the advent of,and an increasing acceptance of digital informatim available through networks,The academic library in Canada has developde a strategy to meet the needs of the changing world.The paper highlights three issues that reflect the charateristics of Canadian academic libraries today.They are:management,resource sharing,continuing education for the library staff.An understanding of the issues is important for Chinese librarians as well as principal officials in China's universities and colleges.
