摘　　要：分析传统专家系统和神经网络存在的互补性，将这2种技术同时应用于变压器故障诊断，开发出一套实用的智能故障诊断专家系统。实例证明该系统是成功的。The significance of developing an Expert System for electrical apparatus was illuminated and the interrelationship between the traditional expert system and the neural network was analyzed in this paper．Both the two methods were applied to the fault diagnosis for power transformers and an intelligent fault diagnosis expert system was developed． The examples have proved the success of this system．
