摘　　要：高等学校是培养高素质人才的基地，图书馆作为高等学校的重要组成部分，在素质教育中为创新人才的培养提供了最优空间，营造了最理想氛围。为了适应知识经济的需要，高校图书馆需要强化知识殿堂形象、精神文明基地形象、信息存储与传播中心的形象以及优质服务的职业形象。The college acts as the base of training pioneering talents with higher accomplishment. And its library, as an important part of the higher education, provides the most suitable space and the most pleasant atmosphere for the training of pioneering talents in the quality - oriented education. In order to adapt the higher education to the development of technology economy, we should intensify the images of the library by topquality service and make the library the treasure of knowledge, the base of intellectual civilization and the centre of information storage and propagation.
