摘　　要：通过对摆式列车的特点和适应范围的分析，论述了在西南地区开行摆式列车的必要性和和可行性。用财务分析法对西南地区２００５年、２０１５年开行摆式列车的经济效益进行了估算。结果表明，在西南地区开行摆式列车是可行的，经济效益和社会效益是可观的。若采用国产设备，效益将更加显著。By analyzing the characteristics and application scope of tilting trains, this paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of running this kind of trains in the southwest of China. Then, by financial analysis, it estimates the economic benefits of running the tilting trains in the southwest of China in the years 2005 and 2015. The results show that it is feasible to run the tilting trains in the southwest of China because it can bring considerable economic and social benefits, and that the benefits will be more remarkable if cheaper equipment made in China is adopted.
