摘　　要：气象资料是驼峰设计的重要组成部分，在计算峰高时，是确定车辆基本阻力和风阻力的基本参数，但气象资料复杂、繁琐，如何用更简单的方法收集和选用，是我们研究的新课题；提出了新方法的研究原则和思路，同时确定出“正态分布”是新方法的核心，实践证明新方法科学、合理、简单。Meteorological data is a importment component part for hump design, when we calculate the hump height ,it is a basic parameter on determining the basic resistance and wind resistance of wagons ,but the meteorological data is complicated, tedius and trivial daily routine, it is a new subject for our research how to gather and choose the data in simple method, this paper puts forward research principal and train of thought ,it determines that normal distribution is core of the new method at same time ,practice proves that the new method is science ,rational, simple.
