摘　　要：文章在概括地论述１９世纪、２０世纪世界历史与文明走向的基础上，展望了２１世纪人类文明发展的方向。作者指出，中华民族与其他民族复兴和现代化目标的实现以及社会文明的伟大飞跃，将成为２１世纪世界历史、人类文化与文明进步的主要标志。This paper gives a brief account of the world's history and clvilization in 19th and 20th century and gives a vista of the trend of it in 21st century. It is pointed out that the revival of the Chinese nation and other nations, the modernization of China, and the great leap of social civilization are the primary symbols of culture and civilization in 21st century.
