摘　　要：禅宗的语言观具有重要的意义。一方面 ,它继承了教内教外的传统观点 ;同时又深入发展 ,形成了自己的独特内涵 ,并体现在它的宗教实践中。从理论和实践两方面 ,它推动着中国语言学的发展。There was a considerable significance in Zen′s theory of language. On the one hand it inherited the traditional lingual theory of Buddhism and China, but on the other it further developed and had its own characteristics which were embodied in its religious practice. It promoted the development of the Chinses linguitics both in theory and in practice.
