模糊语言的语用分析

摘　　要：模糊性是自然语言的基本属性之一，体现在语言的各个方面，包括 语音、语法、语义和语用模糊。语言哲学家们指出语言的模糊性并不是无足轻重、制造交际 障碍的因素，相反，它保证了交际的有效进行。探讨了对交际影响最大的语义和语用模糊， 提出语义的精确还是模糊要放到特定的情景语境下才有意义。最后举例说明了模糊 语言的语用功能及其在交际中的作用。：Vagueness, which is a constitutive property of natural language, is p ervasive in every aspect of language. Its study includes phonetic vagueness, grammatical vagueness, semantic vagueness as well as pragmatic vagueness. Philosophers of natural language consider vagueness to be neither a marginal nor a problematic phenomenon. Instead, they take vagueness to be of crucial importance for its efficient usage in everyday communication. In the current paper, the focus is on semantic as well as pragmatic vagueness, which is the most affective in communication. Whether a word or an expression is vague or not can only be decided in the specific context of situation. An exemplified description of the pragmatic functions of vague language illustrates its role in daily communication.
