摘　　要：The problem of constructing a function restricted on a smooth surface which interpolates to a collection of scattered functional data on the surface Σ in three dimensional real space is discussed. The main method is first to find interpolant on cylinder Σ 0 by two different mappings of Σ 0 to planar domains D, and the blending these two planar interpolants, and then to form interpolating function on Σ by one-to-one correspondence between the Σ 0 and Σ.
