摘　　要：由Lefschetz所开创的重合问题的研究,后来被Eilenberg,Montgomery,Gornie-wicz,Granas,Kucharski和Skordev等人的工作所继承和发展,并使得这一问题的理论和应用的研究变得十分活跃,而Lefschetz的重合定理被Mukherjea推广到一类光滑流形上.在[9]中定义了映象对的Lefschetz重合指数.In this paper, we study the coincidence index problem on a class of Banach manifolds. Based on the results of [5], we define the coincidence index of the pair of mappings and prove that if the coincidence index is zero, then the coin-cidence problem has a solution.
