摘　　要：西部大开发的本质是实现西部地区的可持续发展 ,缩小东西部差距 ,实现中华民族的伟大复兴。要实现西部地区的可持续发展 ,生态可持续是前提。因此 ,高度重视西部大开发中的生态战略 ,按照复合生态系统内在的运行规律 ,策划、设计西部生态工程非常重要。本文主要就西部生态战略的意义、理论与措施进行探索。This article focuses its attention on the significance,theoretical base and measures of the ecological strategy for the west development.The author holds that ecological sustainable development is the pre-condition of sustainable development in China's western parts.It is very important to attach importance to the ecological strategy,and to plan and design the ecological engineering in the western parts in accordance with the internal function of the composite eco-systems.
