从《被掩埋的巨人》探析石黑一雄笔下的悬念“景观”

摘　　要：石黑一雄在《被掩埋的巨人》里从整体式悬念、顶针式悬念和切入式悬念等角度展现了事件悬念与小说情节的内在关联,从倒装式悬念、分解式悬念和情景反讽式悬念创新性地展现了人物的身份,使读者对小说人物的认知从迷惘到清晰,从局部到整体,从宏观到微观。其误会式悬念、映衬式悬念和豹尾式悬念揭示了人际关系的复杂性、多维性和趣味性,展现了人与人之间在一定社会语境里的情绪、心态和思维演绎。作者的一系列悬念极大地增添了该小说的艺术魅力,使情节发展跌宕起伏、曲径通幽、引人入胜,凸显了文不尽、谜不解的叙述特色。In The Buried Giant, Kazuo Ishiguro demonstrates the internal correlation between suspense of events and fictional plot from the aspects of overall suspense, thimble suspense and interposition suspense, and presents inventively the characters’ identities by means of flash-back suspense, disintegrating suspense and situational ironical suspense to meet readers’ cognition of characters from misty to clear, from partial to full, and from macroscopic to microscopic. In addition, the author reveals the complicatedness, multi-dimension and interestingness of interpersonal relations through misunderstanding suspense, setting-off suspense and end-jump suspense, displaying the moods,psychic state and ideological evolution of interaction in a certain social environment. The series of suspense used by the author greatly increase the artistic charm of the novel, making the development of plots unrestrained, winding and arresting and highlighting the narrative characterized by no hasty deciphering of riddles prior to the end of the story.
