摘　　要：中国私营企业调查是目前国内持续时间最长的大型全国性抽样调查之一,也是国内外各界了解和研究改革开放40年以来中国企业和企业家成长的重要微观数据之一。本文运用文献计量分析方法,首次对国内外使用这套数据发表的学术论文进行了全面的梳理和分析,还讨论了使用者在数据开发过程中可能遇到的问题和疑惑,从而有助于后来研究者更好地了解国内外学者在研究实践(期刊、主题、学者和机构)方面的已有积累,更有针对性地开展未来研究。作为调查的课题组成员,我们还对数据未来的设计和使用进行了展望,就这套数据如何更好地服务高质量发展和营商环境的评价提出了建议。The Chinese Private Enterprise Survey (CPES)is one of the most enduring large-scale nationwide sample surveys in China, providing important micro data for understanding and studying the development of Chinese enterprises and entrepreneurs over the past four decades since China's reform and opening up.The CPES is now handled by the Private Enterprise Research Project Team,composed of members from the United Front Work Department of the CPC Cen- tral Committee,All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, State Administration for Market Regulation,Chinese Academy of Social Sciences,and Chinese Private Economy Research Association. It is conducted once every two years,and 12surveys have been done until now (in 1993,1995,1997,2000,2002,2004,2006,2008,2010, 2012,2014,and 2016,respectively).The article firstly reviews the origins and development trajectory of this survey to provide a gen- eral picture of the purposes and the major issues of the data.Based on a bibliometric analysis,this paper is the first to provide an overall picture of academic articles in China and abroad that use the CPES data.The mainland and overseas literature totaled 210from 1993to 2017.The article shows the structure of the data-set,the major issues of the literature,the most published and cited papers,the high impact institutions,and composition of the authors.The article also discusses problems that users may encounter during data mining.By doing so, it aims to help other researchers get a better understanding of what has been done (e.g.journals,topics,scholars,and institutions)and do their own research in a more targeted way.As members of the survey project team,we also take a prospect of the future data design and use,and offer some suggestions about how to use the CPES data to improve high-quality development and business environment evaluation in China.
