摘  要:改革开放四十年来,在中国企业战略管理领域,核心专长是被研究与应用最多但却最模糊的概念之一。在实践中能够有效构建核心专长的中国企业少之又少,在理论上对核心专长构建过程的研究存在着缺乏战略视角与情境嵌入研究的不足。本文分析了核心专长概念形成过程,厘清核心专长的概念,剖析了核心专长概念的内涵结构,强调核心专长是一个相对性概念。在回顾理论界对核心专长构建过程研究基础上,提出转型期中国情境特征对中国企业核心专长的构建过程具有双重性影响,企业家在平衡与应对外部情境双重性中所形成的四种特质构成了中国企业构建核心专长的关键驱动力;提出转型期中国企业在此驱动力影响下形成的核心专长构建机制,包括过程模式、知识来源、管理模式与关键成功因素。这一基于中国情境的研究深化了已有的核心专长概念,丰富和发展了核心专长构建这一核心战略研究命题的相关研究,对指导当前中国企业有效构建、发挥和强化核心专长,提升企业的国际竞争力具有积极的意义。In the past 40 years of reform and opening-up,core competence has been one of the most widely studied and applied yet most ambiguous concept in the field of strategic management of China.In management practice,few Chinese enterprises can effectively construct their core competence,while in theoretical research, although abundant research has been made,the existing study on the process of core competence construction still lacks the research perspective of strategic and the consideration of situational embeddedness.In this regard,this study first hackles the concept formation process of the core competence,then clarifies the concept of the core competence and analyses its connotation and structure,in this part,the study especially emphasizes that the core competence is a relative concept.On the basis of theoretical reviewing of the current research on the processes of building core competence,this study points out that the context characteristics of China in transitional period have dual effects on the process of the core competence construction for Chinese enterprises,while balancing and coping with the external context,the entrepreneurs have gradually formed four characteristics as cause first,customer-oriented,focus on making up deficiencies,and ready to shoulder responsibilities.These four characteristics precisely constitute the key driving force for the construction of Chinese enterprises'core competence under dual context effects.This study also puts forward that the mechanism of core competence construction formed by Chinese enterprises under the influence of this driving force includes the process mode,the knowledge source,the management mode and the key success factors.Based on the Chinese context,this study deepens the existing concept of core competence,enriches and develops the core strategic research proposition related to the core competence construction.It is of positive significance for guiding Chinese enterprises to effectively build,develop and strengthen their core competence,as well as to enha
