结合教材在综合英语课中开展CBI模式教学

摘　　要：综合英语是一门重要的专业基础课程。然而,一直以来该课程的教学都存在重语法、重技能,轻英语专业类学科知识和人文知识传授的现象。为提高英语专业学生的综合语言素养,夯实他们的语言基础,该课程的教学改革迫在眉睫。结合教材开展以内容为依托的教学能有效兼顾语言和专业学科知识两个方面的内容,有利于提高本课程的教学效果。Comprehensive English is an essentially basic course for English majors. However, there has always been a biased phenomenon in which grammar and language skills are attached importance to, while knowledge of English disciplines and other humanistic knowledge are not given due weight to. In order to improve comprehensive language attainment of students in English major, and solidify their language basis, teaching reform of the course is extremely urgent. The method of content-based instruction in combination with the teaching material can effectively give consideration to both language and knowledge of English disciplines. Also, it can effectively enhance the teaching effect of the course.
