摘  要:列举了一批近年来得到开发应用的 TFT LCD显示用液晶材料,并分析了其发展趋势。TFT LCD要求液晶材料具备高电压保持率、低粘度、低双折射串等特性,而传统的液晶材料无法满足上述要求.含氟液晶、环己烷类液晶、乙烷类液晶因其极性较低,分子粘度低,电阻率高,电压保持率高,在TFT LCD中得到广泛应用。初步阐明了其分子结构与物理性能之间的关系,为新型液晶分子设计及配方设计提供了线索。Various kinds of liquid crystals that have been widely used in TFT LCD recently are reviewed. Liquid crystals with characteristics such as high voltage holding ratio, low viscosity, low birefringence are required for TFT LCD, while conventional liquid crystals can not satisfy such requirements. New fluorine containing liquid crystals, cyclohexane series liquid crystals and ethane series liquid crystals are widely used in TFT LCD for their low polarity which result in low viscosity, high voltage holding ratio and low birefringence. The relationship between structure and properties of liquid crystals compounds has been summarized, which gives clues to the design of new types of liquid crystals and formulation of mixture.
