摘 要:山西临汾地区是一个历史强震多发区 ,130 3年和 16 95年发生了洪洞 (M =8)和临汾(M =7 )两次特大地震。这两次地震所在区域至今仍有持续不断的小地震活动 ,具有明显的大震区地震长期活动特征。我们对临汾无线传输地震台网记录的 1987~ 1999年期间发生的16 70次中、小地震重新进行了震源定位。根据对这些地震震源位置三维空间分布特征和震源机制解的分析 ,认为洪洞地震的震源断层应是长 80km ,埋深 5~ 2 6km的NNE走向、高倾角的右旋走滑型断层 ,而临汾地震的震源断层是长 70km ,埋深 5~ 2 2km的NWW走向、高倾角的左旋走滑型断层。这与洪洞。Linfen, located in Shanxi Province, is a seismic area in China, where many strong earthquakes occurred in history, among those are the famous Hongdong M8.0 earthquake (1303) and Linfen earthquake (1695). A large number of small earthquakes have been recorded continually for the years in the areas where the two earthquakes occurred, showing the long-term seismic active feature of the earthquake areas. We relocated 1670 small earthquakes from 1987 to 1999 recorded by Linfen wireless seismic network. Based on the analysis to the feature of spatial distribution of hypocenters and focal mechanisms, the focal fault of Hongdong earthquake is inferred to be a right-lateral slip fault, which is striking to NNE with high dip, 80km in length, and 5~26km in depth, while the Linfen earthquake's to be a left-lateral slip fault, striking to NWW with high dip, and 70km in length, and 5~22km in depth. The fault planes inferred are consistent with the direction of isoseisms, stress field and tectonic feature of Hongdong and Linfen earthquake areas.
