摘　　要：阐述了城市生态学的发展过程 ,综述了城市生态环境与城市生态学研究内容及进展 ;提出了城市生态学的发展经历了萌芽、兴起与分化、发展与实践阶段 ;指出了城市可持续发展是当代城市生态环境问题研究的重要动向和热点 ,生态城市是人类可持续发展城市的理想模式 ;The origin and development of urban ecology were expatiated. The contents and progress of urban ecological environments and urban ecology in China and other countries were summarized. The author put forward that the development of urban ecology experienced three stages, as germination stage, growth and differentiation stage, and development and practice stage. Urban sustainable development are the important trend and hotspot of research in the field of urban ecological environments. Ecocity is the ideal mode of urban sustainable development. Urban ecology and urban ecological environments are the scientific foundation of urban sustainable development and constituting agenda of 21 century in the world.
