摘　　要：对生态良好的概念进行了论述 ,认为生态良好是全新的科学思维 ,是跨入新世纪的时代产物 ,是我国生态环境建设的重要指南。生态良好离不开林业和森林的发展 ,林业是生态良好的主体 ,也是生态良好的基础。经过几十年的努力 ,我国林业已为建立生态良好打下了一定的基础 ,特别是近几年来 ,我国林业发生了深刻的变化 ,其实质就是适应林业先进生产力发展需要的变化 ,满足先进文化不断提高的人民生活水平对林业日益增长的多种需求的变化。开创生态良好的发展道路必须有科技的支撑 ,提出了The concept of ecological soundness, which was regarded as a fully new mode of thought and a creation in new age and an important guide to the construction of ecological environment in China, was discussed. Ecological soundness is closely correlated with the development of forestry. Forest is the principal part and foundation of ecological soundness. The forestry has laid a foundation for ecology soundness after hard working for decades in China. Especially in recent years, many changes have happened in forestry of China.The essential of these changes is to fit the development of productivity and to satisfy the increasing demands of people for forestry with the improving living conditions. The realization of ecology soundness need the support of science and technology, some suggestions referring to eight aspects are put forward.
