摘　　要：列举了铸铁在发动机曲轴、汽缸体、连杆、凸轮轴、中重型载货车后桥壳、轿车转向节等九类主要汽车零件上的成功应用实例,着重分析了铸铁与其他材质在对比中所表现出的优势,藉以说明铸铁件在现代汽车工业中的重要地位。Examples of cast irons' successfull application for 9 denominations of main automobile parts were given,including:crankshaft,cylinder block,connecting rod and camshaft for engines,rear axle housing for medium and heavy trucks and steering knuckle for sedan car.The analysis focussed onto the advantange of cast irons over other materials with the purpose to high light the significant position of cast irons in modern automobile inductry.
