摘　　要：本文介绍了在各种类型压缩工具软件的压缩率和压缩效率的统计测试分析 ,得到了文本文件、语音文件、图像文件和多媒体文件的最大压缩率、压缩率、平均压缩率性能比较和分析结果。遴选出目前实用压缩软件中压缩率和压缩效率均较高的实用压缩软件 ,进一步分析它们所使用的压缩算法 ,得到了常用压缩算法的适用条件和特征。This paper introduces the statistic and testing analysis of compression ratio and efficiency of compressed software of various types and has gained the results of comparison and analysis about compression ratio,maxim um comp ression ratio and average compression ratio by documentaries of text,voice,image and multimedia.We selectes some practical compressed softwares having high com pression ratio and efficiency at present,further analyzes arithmetic used by them and obtains suitable condition and character of compression arithmetic in c ommon use.\;
