摘　　要：本文在通过田野考察实证的基础上 ,提出改进客家研究方法 ,拓展客家研究空间的一些观点。内容包括族谱与客家研究的思考、田野调查与比较方法在客家研究中的运用、拓展客家研究的空间。并简述嘉应学院客家研究所在与法国远东学院劳格文教授合作项目“客家传统社会结构与原动力”(1994-1999)研究的基础上策划实施的新轮一计划 :“梅江流域 (韩江上游 )客家传统社会与生计”The article points some views about improving Hakka research method, exploring and developing Hakka reseach space on the basis of fielduork. The contents include the thinking of geneaology and Hakka research, the application of fieldwork and compatitive method in Hakka research, the exploring and developing of the space of Hakka research. In addition, the new research plan called the research of Hakka Traditional Society and its production style in Meijiang River areas, which is based on the joint programe Hakka Traditioned Society and its original impetus, is also simply introduced. Its aim is to describe the structure of the traditional society on the level of community and town, the historical change of the production style of the common people, and their relationship with the modernization. I hope the exports can give me their valuable advice.
