摘　　要：类似于QQ在中国的使用情况,Skype聊天软件在英语为母语的发达国家有较多的使用。这为英语学习者们打开了与英语为母语的本族语者们交流的天地。这无疑将成为一个省时、省力、省钱的英语学习的绝佳办法。本文通过学生的基于Skype的网络英文交际实践,分析其英文交际文本,归纳总结出一些典型特征和共性特点,以启示英语口语教学或相关教材的编写。Like the popular use of the instant messenger QQ in China, Skype as an instant messenger has also been regularly used in many developed countries where English is the mother tongue. Thus a good open place for English learners to find those native speakers has shown up, which offers a perfect channel to English learning that is time-saving, energy-saving and cost-saving. Based on students＇chatting texts by Skype, the article analyzes the chatting texts and draws some conclusions on the typical characteristics and common features in the chatting texts, which will benefit oral English teaching or even the compiling of some relevant English teaching materials.
