摘  要:交通流模型中常见的参数有行驶时间、车速(平均车速或瞬时车速)、车流量与车辆密度。这些参数在智能交通系统的应用中起着重要的作用。借助精准的交通参数,驾驶员可正确地选择便捷的行驶方式与更快的行车路径。本文主要介绍了交通流模型的基本原理、基于新一代无线定位技术(5.8GHz)车速检测的方法与应用、以及无线定位技术在交通流模型中的其他应用方式。5.8GHZ频段信号广泛应用在高速公路电子不停车收费领域中,利用5.8GHz的无线定位技术,路侧单元可对装有车载器的车辆进行精确定位并准确检测与估计该车车速。先进的无线定位技术为未来智能交通系统发展奠定了坚实的技术基础。Average travel time,speed,flow rate and density on the road are important parameters in transportation models. These parameters play key roles in the applications of intelligent transportation system(ITS). With the use of accurate transportation parameters,a convenient and fast travel mode can be chosen by the travelers. In this paper,the basic theory of transportation models is introduced in the first and the second section. The methods to detect instant vehicle speeds and to estimate average speeds between two stations based on 5.8GHZ wireless positioning technology(WPT) are explained in the third section. Finally,other applications of WPT to build up transportation models in ITS are also presented. The 5.8GHz signals are used in electronic toll collection system. With the use of 5.8GHz WPT,the speeds of vehicles installed with on-board unit can be detected and estimated by the road-side unit. The advanced WPT will be a technical foundation for developing ITS in the future.
