摘 要:甲午战后,中国人并未因战败受辱而裹足不前,反而痛定思痛,以"知耻而后勇"的精神与气魄,主动向日本学习,掀起了近代中国轰轰烈烈的留日运动。刚刚摆脱半殖民地危机的日本,由于大力发展教育事业,率先于欧美诸国普及义务教育,故在中国留学生蜂拥赴日时,能够接受和施以教育。亚洲主义者打着"同文同种"和"亚洲主义"的旗号,劝诱、蛊惑中国学生赴日留学。日本政府则从培养亲日分子和向大陆侵略扩张的目的出发,积极接受中国留学生,从而为甲午战后中国留日热潮的兴起提供了相应的政治保障。但是,日本政府和亚洲主义者别具用心的留学教育目的,不仅为留日学生与日本政府之间的冲突埋下了伏笔,而且或明或暗地影响着未来的中日关系。After the Sino-Japanese War in 1894, the Chinese did not stop advancing because of the failure in the war, but drew a lesson from the bitter experience , studied from Japan actively with the spirit of Shame and Courage, and raised a movement of studying in Japan in the modern Chinese history. Japan, which just got rid of the crisis of semicolony, developed education profoundly, and made compulsory education universal before the powers in Europe and America, could accept and educate the Chinese students when they swarmed to Japan. The Asianist persuaded and deluded the Chinese students to go to Japan for study with the flag of "the same language and the same race" and the "Asianism". The Japa- nese Government accepted the Chinese students actively in order to develop the Japanolatry people and its aggression and expansion to China's Mainland, Therefore the Japanese government provided the political guarantee for the rising of the trend of the Chinese studying in Japan after the Sino-Japanese War in 1894. However, the ill-intentioned educational purpose of the Japanese government and the Asianist not only foreshadowed the collision between the Chinese studying in Japan and the Japanese Government, but affected the future Sino-Japanese relations obviously or secretly.
