摘　　要：本文详细回顾了近三十年中话语标记语的社会语用研究历史和现状,指出话语标记语不是仅仅有其语法化的渊源和语用-认知的作用,更重要的是其所负载的社会和交际意义。从社会语言变异和语用的角度来进行话语标记语的描述性研究将对跨文化交际和语言教学起到深远的影响。This paper reviews the history and the recent development of sociopragmatic studies on discourse markers in the past thirty years, emphasizing not only the grammaticalization process and pragmatic-cognitive functions of discourse markers, but also their social and communicative implications in real life. More descriptive studies based on sociolinguistic variation theories and pragmatics are therefore called upon in order to shed more light on future cross-culture communications and language teaching research.
