摘　　要：《了不起的盖茨比》是菲茨杰拉德诸多作品之中最为评论家所推崇的一部。它体现了丰富的文学内涵,并代表了作者所能达到的艺术高度。重读这部作品,要回归到它的本质,即对幻想的不懈追求,以及幻想在地理的错置下走向凋零。同时,作品中随处可体现的"暗示"的紧迫感和危机感,也是作品的魅力所在。The Great Gatsby is one of the most recommended works of Fitzgerald. It shines with charm in literature and represents the glorious climax of the writer’ s career. Reading this novel once again would require to return to the gist of it, that is, the incessant pursuit of dreams, and the withering of those dreams when displaced in different geography locations. Also, there exists a sense of urgency and threat and the novel. These constitute the charm of the novel.
