晚清科幻作品译介与中国近代科学文化构建

摘　　要：晚清中国以"救亡图存"为主调的"文化启蒙"语境决定了该时期科幻作品译介肩负构建中国近代科学文化的历史使命。从晚清科幻作品译介在主体文化中的运行切入,对吴趼人、徐念慈、包天笑等译介与创作科幻作品的个案剖析,可以审视科幻作品译介对于晚清文化建制和新的社会意识方面所起的独特作用。科幻作品译介为当时国人提供了建构强国形象的基本素材,其展现的冒险精神和先进科学技术意象在很大程度上形塑了中国近代科学文化。Under the social context of the Late Qing Dynasty when cultural enlightenment took the theme of national salvation, translation of science works during that period was inevitably charged with the historical responsibility of constructing modern Chinese culture. This paper investigates how it operated in the host culture through the case studies of the translation and creation of such representative translators as Wu Jianren, Xu Nianci and Bao Tianxiao, so as to shed light on its particular functions in constructing culture and reshaping new ideology. It is concluded that in the translation of science works powerful models of state could be found and set up for the Chinese then; furthermore, adventurous spirit and images of advanced scientific technology conveyed in it largely shaped the modern scientific Chinese culture.
