摘　　要：雅各布森一生研究诗学功能(后称美学功能)的本质特征。他对美学功能研究的强烈欲望不但体现在符号学中而且贯穿他的翻译研究。雅各布森关于翻译研究的论著,除了提出广为人知的翻译3分法,更多的篇幅都论述诗歌翻译中的符号美学思想。文章从符号美学角度解析雅各布森的翻译理论,阐释符号美学如何影响雅各布森的翻译思想。Jakobson＇ s persistent research on aesthetic dimension of language is evident and influential both in semiotics and transla- tion. In spite of Jakobson＇ s most famous triadic translation mode, his translation study should also deserve an analysis from the semiotic aesthetic aspect for the simple fact that all his three important essays on translation have touched on the translation of verse and that the elaboration on verse translation has demonstrated significant semiotic aesthetic traits. Hence the paper intro- ducts Jakobson＇ s semiotic aesthetic notion and examines how this thought runs through his translation theory.
