标识语翻译校误及误因分析——以张掖市甘州区标识语译文为例

摘　　要：随着城市经济和旅游业的发展,城市无论大小,各处的标识牌呈现出以双语标示的趋势。但是,由于对标识语翻译管理的疏忽、译者的水平以及制作标识语牌的部门业务能力的欠缺,标识牌上的翻译有很多失误,这不仅影响了标识牌指示和提供信息的功能,也影响了一个城市的文化形象。文章主要是对张掖市甘州区各个公共场所的标识牌上的翻译进行了实地考察,然后进行分类整理并对错误进行分析纠正,同时分析了出现这些错误背后的原因并提出对策。Bilingual signs appear on the sign boards in the cities of whatever size due to the development of economy and tourist industry .The negligence of the management of sign translation , the translator ’ s language level and the professional ability of the company which makes the sign boards totally cause the errors , which not only influence the function of the signs , but also the cultural image of a city .This paper , based on the investigation of the translation text on the sign boards in Ganzhou district of Zhangye , analyzes the errors and the causes for the errors , and provides some coping strategies .
