摘　　要：通过调研美国图书情报学排名前十的高校关于信息组织领域的研究范围、研究人员和论文著作,指出美国图书情报学教育的整体性和系统性强,信息组织领域的研究实用且具体。This paper studies the research areas, researchers and academic papers on information organization of the top 10 universities in American library and information science. It points out that library and information science education in United States is systematical and their research on information organization is practical and specific.
