摘　　要：本期主题：革故鼎新继往开来进入21世纪以来，现代雕塑成为艺术家表达感情与理想的重要载体，并在众多学养深厚的艺术家的共同努力下，形成了具有时代特色和鲜明风格的现代雕塑艺术风潮。中国现代文化艺术在西方物质优势、经济霸权、文化侵蚀的多重作用下，洋溢着一种看似繁荣与活跃的表象。中国现代雕塑艺术如何发展？本刊邀请了几位活跃于中国雕塑界、批评界的专家与学者，就此相关论题进行阐释与说明，以期给具有历史责任感与时代使命感的艺术家们一定的启迪与思考。Through a Mongolian sculptor＇ s opinions about History of Chinese Sculpture,there was a kind of thinking about the three issues of Chinese modern sculpture appeared：When did the conception of “ Chinese sculpture” occur ？ What was the meaning about the conception of Chinese sculpture when it appeared ？ What was the tradition of Chinese sculpture when we stand in the view of modern national country ？ The notions of “ China” is always changing,people did not know the notion of “Chinese sculpture” in ancient time,the modern country is based on the conception of national country,we should think about the relationship between western sculpture and Chinese sculpture on a basis of national country.
