摘 要:本文从理论和实践两方面对Melissa A.Bowles于2010年所著《第二语言研究中的有声思维研究法之争议》(Melissa A.Bowles,2010.)进行简单介绍和评价。在理论层面,该书使用元分析方法系统梳理第二语言研究领域使用有声思维法的实证研究,并对研究者对该研究法提出的质疑进行回应。在实践层面,该书讨论有声思维法研究设计中的数据收集和分析过程,为不同研究经验的语言研究者开展相关研究提供参考。The paper reviews the latest publication in Routledge' s series of research methodology monographs,The Think-Aloud Controversy in Second Language Research by Melissa A.Bowles in 2010.It comprises two parts.First,a brief introduction of the content and structure of the book is presented.Second,the interpretation of and comments on the book are discussed from two perspectives.Theoretically,in response to the researchers who are skeptical of the reactivity and veridicality of the think-aloud protocols,the book presents a narrative overview of the findings of recent studies using think- aloud protocols in the field of SLA,followed by a systematic meta- analysis of these studies.Practically,the book provides a how- to section for data collection and data analysis in think- aloud studies,which researchers of varying experiences could refer to when conducting thinkaloud studies.The review concludes with a short discussion of the contribution of the book to the second language research methodology.
