城镇化进程中高等教育改革的若干思考——美国威斯康星的经验及对我国的启示

摘　　要：南北战争后工业化和城镇化成为美国社会发展的主旋律,由此美国开展了赠地学院运动并产生了"威斯康星"教育理念,这一改革使得美国的社会及其高等教育的发展进入一个崭新的历史时期。城镇化是当前我国社会发展的主旋律之一,为了适应这一新的历史进程,我国的高等教育应该做出适当的改革:大学积极参与所在区域的各项事务;大学要坚持教学与科研活动相结合;推动政府、市场与大学的协同合作;开展继续教育和在职教育。Mter the American Civil War, industrialization and urbanization became the main social development trend. United States accordingly launched a land grant college movement and formed the ＂Wisconsin Concept＂, which brought American society and its higher education into a new historical era. Urbanization is one of China＇ s main social development trends, so our higher education should undergo appropriate reforms, to fit for this new historical process. Besides an active participation in regional affairs, universities should combine teaching and research together, promote their collaboration with government and market, and carry out continual education and vocational education.
