摘　　要：波兰裔英国作家约瑟夫．康拉德被公认为最伟大英语小说家之一。其代表作《黑暗之心》使他在众多卓越小说家中脱颖而出。这部作品也在英国文学和西方经典中占据着举足轻重的地位。本文所选择的主题是分析《黑暗之心》中现实主义跟童话的交织关系，旨在分析笼罩在小说中两位主要人物马洛和库尔兹身上的童话色彩，从而揭露出童话描写的暗藏意义，由此窥见童话和现实主义的紧密关联，即童话化的叙事角度更有力彰显现实主义的内涵。Joseph Conrad, a Polish - bern English novelist, was regarded as one of the greatest novelist in the English language. Heart of Darkness is his representative work by the distinguished British novelists. And this work is widely regarded as a significant work of English literature and part of the Western canon. This essay aims at discussing the relationship between Realism and Fairy tale through the main characters Marlow and Kurtz＇ s mystical color, it also uncovers the hidden meaning of fairy tale, and then it can be seen that Realism and Fairy tale are closely related. The connotation of Realism can be strengthened by the narrative perspective of Fairy tale.
