摘　　要：20世紀90年代以來,德國漢學家羅哲海在對軸心時期《孟子》和儒學的詮釋中,旗幟鮮明地張揚啓蒙話語,主張以一種"重構或調適的詮釋學"來啓動軸心時期儒家倫理的潜能,重提注重民主和人權等普適價值的"現代性方案",倡導"現代性儒家"而非"儒家現代性"。本文以羅哲海對《孟子》的現代重構爲例,分析其法蘭克福批判哲學背景與包括孟子在內的儒學相互結合的一種可能,兼與法國漢學家朱利安以"道德奠基"爲話題對孟子與啓蒙哲人的比較研究爲對照,藉以突顯羅哲海《孟子》詮釋對于當代中國思想的獨特意義。Since 1990 s,German sinologist Heiner Roetz,through his interpretation on the Axial Age Confucian scholar Mencius,publicly confirmed the Enlightenment discourse and put forth "an reconstructive or accommodative Hermeneutics" to stimulate the potentialities of Confucian Ethics in Axial Age;Roetz rejuvenated the "modernity proposal" which stressed universal values such as democracy and human rights,what Roetz promoted is "modernity in Confucianism" instead of "modernity of Confucianism".The article will,taking Roetz's modern reconstruction of Mencius as an example,analysed the possibility of combination between his Frankfurt critical philosophical background and Confucianism(including Mencius).In other way,I will take the comparative studies between Mencius and the Enlightenment Philosophers as a background,approach the topic of Francois Jullien's "Fonder la morale",and thereby underline the specific modern of Roetz's interpretation of Mencius for modern Chinese Thought.
