爱国主义是民族利己主义吗?

摘　　要：爱国就是爱自己的同胞,爱祖国的大好河山,爱灿烂的文化,维护国家的主权和领土完整,捍卫民族的尊严和利益。爱国主义是对民族和祖国的深厚感情,是具有巨大感召力的民族精神,爱国主义是对国家的爱,是对整个民族利益共同体的自觉认同,民族利益是整体的利益、长远的利益,这种利益高于民族内部的、局部的、暂时的利益,个体和国家的利益并不矛盾,爱国主义不是民族利己主义,某种程度上是一种利他行为。Patriotism is to love one＇ s own countrymen, beloved motherland, and splendid culture. It also means to safe-guard the state sovereignty and territorial integrity in addition to the national dignity and interests. Besides, it is the deep affection for people and the motherland. It is a national spirit with great charisma. As patriotism is the love for the country, the conscious identity of the national interests of the entire community, national interests are the overall interests and long-term interests. Such interests are higher than the national internal, partial and temporary interests. Interests of individuals and the state are not contradicted. Therefore patriotism is not national egoism, but a kind of altruism to some extent.
