摘 要:近年来,英文电影的字幕翻译呈现出日益明显的以娱乐观众为目的的改写倾向。本文基于俄国形式主义学派的"陌生化"理论,揭示了这种翻译倾向打破传统字幕翻译的规范,利用网络流行语的"陌生化"特质和中西文化反差形成的"陌生化"效果娱乐观众的实质,并认为由于译者对这种方法的滥用致使陌生化过度消解,已引起观众对这种娱乐化倾向的接受态度发生了明显转变。In recent year, the entertainment-oriented rewriting has been increasingly popular in the subtitle translation of some English movies. Based on the Defamiliarization Theory put forward by Russian Formalism, this paper suggests that this trend deviates from the traditional norms of subtitle translation and entertains the target audience by making use of the defamiliarizing effect brought about by Internet catchwords and the striking contrast between the Eastern and Western culture. This paper holds that the abuse of defamiliarizing methods has weakened the effect to the degree that the target audience begin to be tired of entertainment-oriented rewriting in English movie subtitle translation.
